The sands have a quartz-aggregate composition, the sands tend to be medium to coarse grained, with an average fineness modulus of 1.93, an average clay-dust particle content of 6.9%, and a sand filtration coefficient ranging from 2.89 to 26.39 m/boe. The sand contains 1.4% fine, cobbly gravel.
